ZKW Group GmbH (“ZKW”) specializes in premium lightingsystems and electronics. At IAA Transportation 2022, Cepton exhibited its Novalidar integrated into a heavy-duty truck headlamp provided by ZKW. By workingwith ZKW, Cepton is able to demonstrate how Nova can be easily fitted into headlamps,a compelling location for lidar integration. The headlamp integration solutionfeatures discrete embedment, cleaning mechanism and sensor protection in asingle package to offer maximized elegance and ease of maintenance. It alsoenables a dual sensor design for cut-in detection.
